*Hicks was originally played by James Remar, but Michael Biehn replaced him a few days after principal photography began, due to “artistic differences” between Remar and director James Cameron. Remar still appeared in the finished film.

* Sigourney Weaver had initially been very hesitant to reprise her role as Riply and had rejected numerous offers from Fox Studio to do any sequels, fearing that character would be poorly written and a sub-par sequel would hurt the legacy of “Alien”, So because she so impressed with James Cameron script did the movie.   

 

*It took 14 to 16 operators to bring the Queen alien to life.

 

*The Alien nest was kept intact after filming and it was later used as the Axis Chemicals set for “Batman”. The crew for “Batman” found most of the nest still intact.

2. A good script that moved the saga a long.

 

3. Great action

 

4. Good acting.

 

5. Good story

 

6. James Cameron before he became a pussy.

 

7. Sigourney Weaver is Bad ass

 

8. Third best si-fy movie in the 80’

 

9. Second best horror/ Si-Fy

 

10. It holds up mostly.., Mostly.

 

First time seeing it:

 

I saw if for the first on afternoon Saturday movie on Channel 50  in the early 90’s.
