Under the radar: ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World’

I was a movie at the theater that is going under the radar, ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World’ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1307068/). It is really good movie. It is a dark comedy, romance. It also not hard to tell what this movie is about all you need to   do is read the title. So I will not give any details about this movie. It stars: Steve Carell and Keira Knightley with some cameos from Adam Brody, Patton Oswalt, Rob Corddry, Connie Britton and Martin Sheen.

It started out where most movies would end, with no hope to save the plant from ending. It show how different people would react to the end of the world and it is kind of spot on point. Steve Carell shows he got real skills as a drama actor and Keira Knightley is really funny in the film, which is very rarer for her. Even with the dark tone of the film, you can feel the big heart that it has.

I think the reason this movie has had time find a market is, because it an Indy that did not know how to market it self and there was not much marking for this movie. I also think it was released to early in the summer; it should have been a late summer or early fall release date. Anyway if you get chance you should check it out, it is a really good movie. It has a really good pace. It also has some really good realism of what it might be like, if this actually happen. It does have some predictably. Even with that it is still wroth a watch. Even if it just get out of the FUCKING heat.

The run time is 1hr 40mins.

It is in theaters right now, might be there for long.
